This is my cat, Mystery!
Backstory: She was found in someone's backyard along with her two siblings. Likely abandonned due to the fact she had no fleas. Her mother wasn't around, so someone posted her and her siblings online for adoption. When we visited her, she was so small she could fit in only one of my hands. When we brought her to the vet we found out that she was healthy, about a month old, and a girl. (Likely being born in May).
She had two other siblings; a black one and a white and black one. The reason I picked her specifically was that she would grab onto my clothes with her nails when I tried to put her down lol.
The person who gave us her told us that she hadn't been fed in a while, so we went to the store to get cat milk and food. I thought her biting me on the way there was out of hunger, but as of now, (2026/08/25) she still bites me XDD
Why did we name her Mystery? (click for answer)
The reason we named her Mystery was because we used to have a cat named Sabbath. We named Sabbath after one of the cats in Emily the Strange, and thought it would make the most sense to name the next one after the other cat in the series!
also, coincidentally, she was born around the same time frame as the Mystery that's in the series. (May 13th)
